Welcome to FlashTopics.com (the "Service"), operated by 11000AD LLC, a Kentucky limited liability company ("we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of www.flashtopics.com and any related pages, including article pages, Story Breakdown pages, the Flash Digest archive, and our live sports scoreboard.
By accessing or using FlashTopics.com you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
FlashTopics.com is a bias-aware news publication. We aggregate publicly syndicated headlines and descriptions from 120+ news sources via RSS and supplementary public datasets, and we publish original editorial content including the Flash Digest, Story Breakdown analyses, AI Summaries, viewpoint panels, and bias comparison essays. Each article links back to the original publisher. The Service also includes a live sports scoreboard powered by ESPN's public API.
The FlashTopics.com brand, logo, site design, user interface, bias knob, Story Breakdown format, coverage analytics visualizations, Flash Digest, and all original editorial content produced on or by FlashTopics.com are the intellectual property of 11000AD LLC. All rights reserved. You may not copy, republish, systematically scrape, or build derivative products from our original editorial content without our prior written permission.
Headlines, article excerpts, and source descriptions aggregated on FlashTopics.com remain the intellectual property of their respective publishers. We display this content under the terms under which publishers make it available via public RSS feeds and similar syndication mechanisms, and we always provide a prominent link back to the original. When an outlet is paywalled, our summaries are drawn strictly from the publicly syndicated headline and description and we never reproduce subscription content.
Live sports scores and schedules are provided by ESPN's public API and remain the property of ESPN and the respective leagues.
Several features on FlashTopics.com are produced with AI assistance. Specifically, the daily Flash Digest, the AI Summary bullets on Story Breakdown pages, the Left/Center/Right viewpoint panels, and the Bias Comparison essays are drafted by a large language model (Anthropic's Claude Haiku) running against the day's publicly syndicated headlines and descriptions. All AI-assisted content is clearly attributed to the FlashTopics.com Editorial Team and clearly disclosed as AI-assisted. Editorial oversight of the prompts, pipeline, and published output is provided by our editorial team.
Article bias scores are produced by a local open-source language model (Qwen 3, served via Ollama) running on our own infrastructure.
FlashTopics.com takes editorial care, but news aggregation necessarily depends on third parties. We do not guarantee that every headline, summary, or bias rating is free from error, and we do not endorse the content of the outlets we aggregate. Where we make a mistake, we correct it: write to info@flashtopics.com.
