This California Privacy Notice supplements the FlashTopics.com Privacy Policy and applies solely to residents of the State of California. It is provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA").

Information We Collect About California Residents

FlashTopics.com is designed to minimize data handling. We do not require accounts, do not collect email addresses, and do not ask for any personal information from visitors. The only information we or our third-party services interact with falls into the following categories:

• Internet or other electronic network activity information, such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed. This is collected in standard web server logs.
• Inferences drawn from the above by Google Analytics 4 for aggregate analytics and by Google AdSense for advertising, subject to Google's own policies.
• Device-stored preferences that remain on your device (edition, bias knob position, cookie-consent flag). These are not sent to our servers.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial information, precise geolocation, biometric information, health information, or children's data.

Sources, Purposes, and Disclosures

Sources: directly from your browser when you visit the site; and from our third-party services (Google Analytics, Google AdSense) as described above.

Purposes: to operate and maintain the Service, produce aggregate traffic analytics, serve and measure advertisements, and detect abuse.

Disclosures to service providers: Google (Analytics and AdSense). We do not disclose personal information to other third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

FlashTopics.com does not sell personal information in exchange for money. Under the CPRA's broad definition of "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, certain AdSense activity may qualify as sharing. You can exercise your right to opt out of such sharing via the controls described on our Opt-Out Choices page, via Google Ad Settings, and by enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser, which we honor where technically feasible.

Your California Rights

• Right to know what categories of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom the information was disclosed or sold/shared.
• Right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
• Right to correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
• Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, including for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information. FlashTopics.com does not collect sensitive personal information.
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

How to Exercise Your Rights

Email us at info@flashtopics.com with the words "California Privacy Request" in the subject line. Describe which right you are exercising. Because we do not hold account-based personal information, we may respond that we have no personal records associated with you; we will still process and document your request.

You may authorize an agent to act on your behalf; we may require verification of the agent's authority.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

To opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, use the controls on our Opt-Out Choices page, or enable Global Privacy Control in your browser.
